INTRODUCTION
Graphite powder is a kind of mineral powder, mainly composed of simple carbon, soft, black gray; It is greasy and can contaminate the paper. PRODUCT APPLICATION
1. As refractory materials: graphite and its products have the properties of high temperature resistance and high strength, and are mainly used to make graphite crucibles in the metallurgical industry. In steelmaking, graphite is commonly used as the protective agent for steel ingots and the lining of metallurgical furnaces.
2. As conductive material: used in the electrical industry to manufacture the positive pole of electrode, brush, carbon rod, carbon tube, mercury positive current device, graphite gasket, telephone parts, coating of TV picture tube, etc.
3. As wear-resistant lubricating material: graphite is often used as a lubricant in the machinery industry. Lubricating oil can not be used under the conditions of high speed, high temperature and high pressure. Graphite wear-resistant materials can work without lubricating oil at high sliding speed at (I) 200~2000 ℃.
Many equipment transporting corrosive media widely use graphite materials to make piston cups, sealing rings and bearings, which do not need to add lubricating oil during operation. Graphite emulsion is also a good lubricant for many metal processing (wire drawing, tube drawing).
