INTRODUCTION

Metallic silicon, also known as crystalline silicon or industrial silicon, is mainly used as an additive for non-ferrous alloys. Industrial silicon is also used as an alloying agent for silicon steel with strict requirements, and as a deoxidizer for smelting special steel grades and non-ferrous alloys. After a series of process treatment, industrial silicon can be pulled into single crystal silicon for use in the electronic industry. The metal silicon is mainly composed of silicon, so it has similar properties with silicon.
